Scan the receipt. See what you bought.
Welp is an Android app for paper receipts. Photograph the slip, check the lines, and see the items, quantities and amounts together. Spending is only what you added yourself, in the currency printed on the receipt.
A photo becomes items
- Take a photo, or choose a photo or a PDF from the phone.
- Check the lines before they are saved. Correct a name, a quantity or an amount when a line was read wrong.
- The same figure appears on the overview, under items, and on the receipt. A correction applies in all three places.
- If you have no slip, type the purchase in.
The history stays on your phone
The photo is read in the EU and deleted immediately. We do not keep your receipts, your items or your amounts. History, corrections and settings stay on your phone. Welp does not connect to your bank.
Price
The first 10 imports are free, once per Google account. After that Welp is a monthly subscription for 100 imports a month. Google Play shows the price in your currency. In Denmark it is 39 DKK a month. You buy and cancel in Google Play. If you cancel, the history on the phone stays readable.

What is Welp?
Welp reads a paper receipt and shows what you bought: the item, the quantity and the price, in the currency printed on the slip. It is a spending view built from receipts, not from your bank.
How do I scan a receipt?
Open Welp, photograph the slip, and check the lines. They count toward spending only after you accept them.
Do you store my receipts?
No. The photo is read in the EU and deleted immediately. The history stays on your phone. If you delete the app, the history goes with it.
Can Welp see my bank?
No. Welp sees only the receipts you photograph or type in.
What does Welp cost?
The first 10 imports are free. Then a monthly subscription includes 100 imports. Google Play shows the price in your currency. In Denmark it is 39 DKK a month. You cancel in Google Play.
Can I delete my account and my receipts?
Yes. In the app, under account and settings, you can delete the receipts on the phone and delete the account with us. Write to contact@vstudiodigital.com if you cannot get in.
Is Welp on iPhone?
No. Welp is for Android.
Which shops work?
Welp reads a paper receipt and keeps the currency printed on it. The country follows your phone, so tax and dates are read the way that country prints them. Danish slips from Netto and REMA 1000 have been checked. A line that was read wrong can be corrected before it is saved.
Which language is the app in?
The opening screens are in English. The rest of the app is in Danish for now.
